StillWithMe™, LLC ("StillWithMe™," "we," "us," or "our") is a grief support company based in the United States. We operate the StillWithMe™ website at www.stillwith.me, the StillWithMe™ mobile application, and related products and services including the Memorial Comfort Pillow.

We built StillWithMe™ because we believe no one should grieve alone — and that belief extends to how we treat your personal information. We collect only what we need, protect it carefully, and never use it in ways that would compromise your trust.

2. What Information We Collect

Information You Give Us

• Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account
• Profile information: Optional details you add to your profile
• Memorial content: Names, dates, photos, and descriptions of loved ones you add to memorial pages
• Journal entries: Private writing, letters, check-ins, and prompts you complete in the app
• Community content: Posts, comments, or messages you share in community spaces
• Purchase information: Name, shipping address, and payment details when you order a pillow (payment is processed securely by third-party processors — we do not store full card numbers)
• Communications: Messages you send us via email or contact forms
• Email list signup: Name and email if you join our mailing list

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and time spent in the app
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and browser type
• Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs
• Cookies: Small files that help us remember your preferences and improve your experience (see our Cookie section below)

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your Social Security number, government ID, or sensitive financial account numbers beyond what is necessary to process a transaction. We do not require you to share your mental health diagnosis, therapy history, or medical records at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to provide and improve our services:

• Create and maintain your account
• Deliver the features of the StillWithMe™ app — journaling, memorials, community, check-ins
• Process and fulfill pillow orders
• Send you updates, early access notifications, and community announcements you've opted into
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Improve our products based on how they are used (aggregated, anonymous data only)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell your data to data brokers. We do not share your grief journal entries or memorial content with any third party for any purpose.

4. What We Share — and What We Don't

We do not sell your personal information. Ever. We may share limited information only in these circumstances:

• Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who help us operate (e.g., email delivery, payment processing, app hosting). These vendors are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfer: If StillWithMe™ is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer — but we will notify you and your rights will be protected.
• With your consent: Any other sharing will only happen if you explicitly agree.

5. Sensitive Information & Grief Data

We recognize that the information you share on StillWithMe™ — about loss, grief, emotional states, and loved ones who have passed — is among the most sensitive and personal information that exists. We treat it accordingly.

• Private journal entries are encrypted and visible only to you
• Daily check-in data is used only to show you your own history — never shared or analyzed for third-party purposes
• Memorial pages are private by default — you choose if and what to share
• Community posts you mark as anonymous are displayed without your name
• We do not use your grief-related content to train AI models or for marketing profiling

6. Your Rights & Choices

You have meaningful control over your information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email
• Data portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time

7. How We Protect Your Data

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely impenetrable. If a security breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you promptly as required by law.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

StillWithMe™ is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at contact@stillwith.me and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of StillWithMe™ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
